bcb723 Those drums! The last album was so awash in sound it almost was like one piece. Here, I mean you could call these "songs" but that is not doing the fearless experimentation of Inferno justice. It is almost if the music goes in & out of the void, completely anchored by some of the best black metal drumming I have heard full stop. That's not to say Gnosis isn't melodic, because that is part of the mix also. It is just that the "songs" are such overtly complex statements. And those goddamn drums... Favorite track: Ω ≻ 1 (Oscillation in Timelessness).

czdolphy A towering achievement of psychedelic black metal, and the crown jewel of Inferno's 20+ years as a major voice in the Czech scene. Be sure to really crank the volume on this, as the sound is so dense it'll be hard to catch everything otherwise.
